Hokusai ukiyo-e to fight fraud in Japan passport

However, this is the first time that Hokusai’s ukiyo-e will appear in the new Japanese passport for those who apply for a visa from February 2019. The printing series of “36 Views of Mount Fuji”, created in the early 19th century, is the most famous oeuvre of Hokusai. The new passport will include 24 images of this collection, each shown as background on the visa stamping page. This design project began four years ago. Art in the Garden: The Allure of “Dragon’s Footprint” at Art Macao 2019

Yansong Ma and his MAD Architects team were invited to create their installation at the luxury mixed-use complex, Wynn Palace, which hosted the "Garden of Earthly Delights" exhibition as part of Art Macao 2019. The exhibition drew inspiration from and was named after the painting by Renaissance artist Hieronymus Bosch. The artworks in the exhibition explored the concept of "space," with Ma being the only artist to use the outdoor space of this luxury complex as his canvas.

The exhibition “The Garden of Earthly Delights” at Wynn Palace Macao was one of the highlights in Art Macao 2019, the first edition of its international art exhibition took over 33 museums and landmarks across Macao during five months from June – October 2019.
