Soft Power in the Metaverse?
Prior to launching the Woo Young-woo Metaverse, the series also introduced an NFT project called the *Extraordinary Whales Club NFT Project*. This initiative aimed to raise awareness and support for individuals with autism worldwide. Part of the proceeds from the NFT auction was donated to the World Wide Fund for Nature and the Autism Society of Korea, a South Korean non-profit organization.
The integration of Metaverse into this experience allows fans to interact with the world of Woo Young-woo in ways that watching the show alone could not. From walking around her world to interacting with various elements of the series, the Metaverse presents a new form of promotion and cultural engagement.
