Thailand Biennale Phuket 2025 Unveils Artistic Directors
The Ministry of Culture has announced the artistic team for Thailand Biennale, Phuket 2025, scheduled to take place from November 2025 to April 2026. This fourth edition of Thailand Biennale will explore the theme “Niranthara” (Eternal Kalpa), focusing on the sustainable relationship between humans and nature. Artistic directors for this edition are Arin Rungjang, a 2020 Silpathorn Award recipient and one of Thailand’s representatives at the 55th Venice Biennale in 2013, and Associate Professor David Teh from the National University of Singapore, known for his extensive writings on contemporary art in Thailand and Asia. The curatorial team includes experienced veteran Marisa Pantiratshudi and Hera Chan.
