Jim Thompson, in collaboration with Binance and NFKings Productions, brings Thai-designed elephants into the global NFT (Non-Fungible Token) market of Binance through Mystery Boxes. This event celebrates World Elephant Day on August 12. The elephants entering these mystery boxes come in 3D designs, with a total of 10 different designs available. They are categorized into 4 difficulty levels: Normal (4 designs), Rare (3 designs), Super Rare (2 designs), and Super Super Rare (1 design).
Each design offers a diverse range of styles, from traditional Thai elephant motifs and Kunchorn Waree from Jim Thompson’s Silk Farm to adorable doodle-like patterned elephants. The most exceptional and rarest design is The Royal Elephant, personally hand-drawn by Jim Thompson himself. There will be a total of 60,000 elephant NFT mystery boxes available for auction starting tomorrow (August 12, 2021, at 11:00 AM UTC or approximately 6:00 PM Thailand time) at a price of 20 BUSD (approximately 667 Baht).
Buyers of NFTs in this initial sale will receive a one-year Jim Thompson membership card with exclusive privileges. The rewards vary depending on the level of the opened elephant design. Furthermore, if someone collects all 4 levels of elephants, from Normal to Super Super Rare, they will have the opportunity to participate in a special raffle draw, with prizes including gift vouchers, VIP dinners at Jim Thompson’s House in Bangkok, 2 nights in the Jim Thompson Suite at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Bangkok, and the special opportunity to help name an elephant at the Elephant Reintroduction Foundation. A portion of the proceeds from the sale will be used to support the conservation of Thai elephants through the mentioned foundation.
