第61届威尼斯双年展（Venice Biennale）已正式公布111位参展艺术家名单。这一被广泛视为全球最重要的当代艺术展览之一的国际大展，将以“In Minor Keys”为主题展开。该主题最初由总策展人科约·库欧（Koyo Kouoh）提出，但她于2025年5月突然离世，未能亲自迎来展览开幕。

从此次公布的名单可清晰看出，美国相关艺术家数量明显高于其他国家与地区。既有arms ache avid aeon等艺术团体，也有劳丽·安德森（Laurie Anderson）、谭美·阮（Tammy Nguyen）等艺术家，以及更多来自不同语境的创作者。
尽管今年名单中没有泰国艺术家（2024年上一届曾有一位泰国艺术家入选，即电影艺术家“ธัญสก พันสิทธิวรกุล”，并获泰国2007年“ศิลปาธร”奖项），但名单中出现了斯旺旺斯·尧恩辉（Sawangwongse Yawnghwe）的名字。这位来自缅甸掸邦的傣耶族艺术家，曾多次在泰国进行创作与展出。
此外，名单还包括达达主义的重要奠基人物马塞尔·杜尚（Marcel Duchamp）。
主题“In Minor Keys”的策展思路
“In Minor Keys”的策展核心，建立在寻找全球艺术家之间“回响式关系”的基础之上。它并非把作品简单汇聚于同一场域，而是尝试去想象：这些创作能量如何在不必相识、不必同属一系的前提下发生“汇流”，在同一空间中形成彼此回应的结构。
科约·库欧（Koyo Kouoh）这位具有喀麦隆与瑞士背景的总策展人，于2025年5月在展览开幕前骤然离世。但她留下的策展框架与精神路径，仍由团队继续推进，在坚持她所设定的开放视野与意义坐标的同时，也为不可预期的变化保留空间。
本届展览的叙事结构刻意避免传统意义上的分区方式，而是沿着多组观念的“暗流”展开：从“圣所”（Shrines）的概念，到身心庇护的绿洲，再到在讥诮与冷漠之中仍能存续的惊奇感，以及对推动社会目标的制度性建构。库欧将后一种指向称为“学校”，强调一种把能量导向公共议题与社会目的的组织方式。
在观念构思上，库欧尤其从文学中汲取灵感，重点来自两部作品：托妮·莫里森（Toni Morrison）的Beloved，以及加夫列尔·加西亚·马尔克斯（Gabriel García Márquez）的One Hundred Years of Solitude。这两部小说都以强烈的叙事力量把现实与记忆连接起来，让生命边界与时间层次得以交错并置，形成既现实又超越现实的经验结构。
