After first exploring the NFT space in 2022, the legendary performance artist Marina Abramović is making a comeback with a brand-new NFT collection, “Marina Abramović Element (MAE).” This collection consists of three series—Art, Life, and the Marina Abramović Method—each offering unique forms of digital expression. The NFTs vary in rarity, with standard pieces presented as still images, while the rarer editions feature dynamic animations that evolve in real-time according to the moon’s orbital movements.
The collection will be unveiled at an exclusive preview event and artist meet-and-greet at Moco Museum, London, on April 8, 2025. Abramović has long been known for merging her groundbreaking performance art with new technologies, from video games to VR. With this project, she once again brings her visionary approach to the blockchain.
Marina Abramović Element (MAE) is set to mint in mid-May 2025, with a total of 950 NFTs, rumored to be launching on Ethereum. Stay tuned for more details on how to mint via TAEX.
